My First Attempt

This is my first attempt at doing an analysis of a game so please give me some feedback and pointers. This game is a game that I played over the weekend. I was a few hundred points below my opponent so I was very happy at the way I played although i suspect he was trying something new with Qh4?!.

[#] 1.c4 e5 2.Nc3 Qh4?! not sure what this accomplishes. g3 loses c4 but i will get a commanding lead in devlopment as i chase the queen around.? +0.62
[2...Nc6 3.Nf3 -0.05]
3.g3? +0.02
[3.Nf3 Qxc4 4.e3 Qe6 5.d4 +0.62]
3...Qxc4 4.Bg2 Nf6 5.d3 Qe6 6.Nf3 h6with the queen no longer on d8 there is no pin on ♘f6 h6 loses a tempo 7.O-O Nc6 8.e4 Bb4 9.Qb3 here I was determined to trade off the queens I thought i could outplay black so why not get rid of his heavy hitter. If he refuses the trade I go ♘xc7 and get at a min a pawn? -0.59
[9.Nb5 Ba5 +0.19]
9...Qd6? +2.41
[9...Qxb3 10.axb3 d6 11.d4 exd4 12.Nd5 -0.59]
10.Nb5 from here I'm eyeing ♘c7 and wining at least a pawn. It was free might as well take it. Qe7 11.Nxc7 Kf8 12.Nxa8 Bd6 not sure what is plan is at this point i dont understand what Bd6 accomplishes. 13.Nh4 prepping the eventual Nf5 with a strong pawn outpost Nd4 makes the ♕ move but does little else ♕c4 and the ♘ retreats or ♗c5 to block 14.Qc4 Nc6 15.Nf5 plan is comming together, Nf5 wins the blacks dark squared bishop for my advanced ♘ but will allow me to evenutally bring my ♘ on a8 out to c7 Qe6 16.Nxd6 Qxd6 17.f4 i liked f4 here in order to bring the ♖ into the game and get on a half open while attacking the black ♕ with my dark squared bishop Qb8 18.Qc5? +2.05
[18.fxe5 Qxe5 +4.25]
18...Kg8? +3.84
[18...d6 19.Qa3 +2.05]
19.fxe5 Nxe5 leaves e7 unprotected now my ♕ can start eating pawns 20.Qe7 Nxd3 21.Qd8 Kh7 22.Qe7 Qxa8 23.Qxf7? +1.99
[23.Rxf6 Rg8 +5.48]
23...Ng4 with my ♔ well protected and his ♘s needing several moves to get to mating squares.? +12.55
[23...Ne5 24.Qb3 b6 25.Bf4 Qb8 +1.99]
24.e5 not sure how he missed the m1 with my next move of ♗e4 i was expecting ♘d5. then ♕f5 then ♗d5 if he didnt play b6 or b5 Ngxe5 easy win here 25.Be4 Ng6 26.Bxg6# [1-0]
